What kind of church is CCC?
Carterville Christian Church is a non-denominational Church which strives to pattern itself after
the church revealed in the New Testament. We are a congregation independent of any outsid
control, except God and His inerrant Word. God has called us to preach and teach His Word.
We want to be faithful to this high calling. We call people to faith in Christ…a faith that
responds to his commands to repent, confess our faith, be immersed into Him, and continue
to follow Him.

How do I get to CCC (directions)?
Take the West Outer Road North accessed at the Carterville Exit of Highway 171.

What should I wear?
Come in whatever you are comfortable in. From jeans to a suit, you are welcome!

As a visitor, will I be singled out in any way?
You will not be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed at all. We do pass out a welcome
packet to all visitors. You will receive a card in the welcome packet which we use to gather
some basic information from our visitors, but it is optional. If you do fill it out, please give
it to one of the greeters in the foyer, because we have a special gift for you.

What is worship like?
Carterville Christian Church believes that worship is not limited to the Sunday morning
celebration of song and praise to Christ. As a part of our worship philosophy Carterville
participates in communion every Sunday as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper as demonstrated
in Scripture.

On Sunday morning you and your family will be able to worship Christ through a
contemporary-blended worship style that will take you before the throne of God by way of
today’s latest and most powerful praise songs and modern versions of amazing traditional
hymns. Our worship band features a full arrangement of instruments including: drums,
guitars (bass, acoustic and electric), piano and flute.

What are the sermons like?
The preaching at Carterville is Bible-based and Christ-centered. Every Sunday you can be sure
to hear a practical message centered on the Word of God with clear application for your life in
today’s culture.

It is the goal of CCC through worship and the preaching of God’s Word that Christ would be
glorified and that you would be encouraged in your life and faith.

How do I get more connected?
A great place to start is by getting involved in a C3 Family Group.
One of the best ways to get connected is just to jump in. Visit a small group, volunteer to serve
in one of our ministry areas, or participate in an upcoming activity. It is easier than you think to
be part of the community! If you are interested in getting connected, but are unsure of where to
start, please call the church office and speak to one of our staff members.
