Children
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me," and so here at Carterville Christian Church we want to help those children come to Jesus. We love all of our kids and we want to serve them in a way that leads them to the love of our Savior. Our children's ministry is a wonderful place to serve! It is a team atmosphere, and a rewarding experience. We are always needing those who can teach, hold, sing, love, create, organize, cook, or just play with our kiddo-s. Youth
If you have a heart to influence teenagers for Jesus Christ, there is room for you in student ministries! There are a variety of ways to get involved with the Junior High and High Students such as Wednesday Night Axis, Small Groups, Sunday School, and quite an array of events, trips, service projects, camps, and conferences. Worship and Technology
Worship encompasses more than just music. Worship is our response to God for who He is and what He has done. This response at Carterville involves everything from music & technology to painting and graphic design. There are huge opportunities to get plugged into this ministry. If you play an instrument, have any technology background, paint, draw, act, dance, run lights, worship slides, have construction skills, are a carpenter, or just have a heart open to learn... we can use you. Guest Services
You have heard it said that “first impressions are everything,” and that is what this ministry is all about. It is providing a positive first impression for a new visitor from the time they walk through our doors to the follow up phone call a few days after their visit. This ministry includes parking lot, door, welcome center and bulletin greeters, cookie makers and deliverers, and connection partners to follow up with new visitors. Building and Grounds
This includes all the behind the scenes work that is essential for the function of the church. There are many opportunities to help get ready for Sunday services, which include setting up chairs, preparing coffee, Communion, etc. There are also opportunities to provide maintenance to the church building and/or vehicles.
