- In December 2011, we started a new sermon series: "From the Crib to the Cross - A Shameful Walk." This is a five month journey with Jesus through the eyes and writings of Dr. Luke. What is amazing, from the very beginning of Jesus' life, he had to take a journey with us through some of life's most shameful events. His birth and childhood is no way the life of a King. His friends, disciples and crowds were not made up of the elite, but people that were broken and thought of by the elitist as the most sinful of people.
